Fashion Fans in Egypt
Since early in her artistic career, Davson enjoyed experimenting with a variety of art media, never afraid to extend her versatility or share her expertise with others.
In 1998, she was invited to participate in The Great Australian Fashion Show and created a series of men’s and ladies jackets.
After touring in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Adelaide, her garments were taken up for two tours in Egypt the following year. They sold well and featured in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada, as well as a luxury cruise ship on the Nile.
Pageant in China
In 2014, Davson was invited to create a National Costume for Mrs Globe Australasia. She hand-painted the National Dress gown for Mrs Globe Australasia, Yolandi Franken. This gown featured in the world final pageant staged in Shenzhen in the Republic of China.
