Living Freedom came into existence through the artist dialling a wrong number to a company about which she had no previous knowledge. So she enquired about the company. This secured a meeting with Cheryl Matthews, the Executive Secretary of Mortgage Finance Australia Ltd, which led to the commission to create two paintings for the company foyer.
Created in support of the endangered birds at Barron Grounds Sanctuary near Bowral in NSW. Commissioned in 2001 for the collection of Graham and Jenny Buchan, Sydney, NSW, the artist agreed to donate half the value of the painting to Barron Grounds for the preservation endangered birds
Unlocking the Future could bring together your investment, leadership and artistic aspirations. This painting presents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the few Davson works that feature nudes imbedded into landscape. These figures float on large jig-saw pieces, juxtaposed with scenes from a possible ‘high rolling’ life-style.
A meditative painting reflecting peace, beauty and courage. It is a very personal statement from an artist who has created only a handful of art pieces for herself, as she has chosen over recent years to work mostly on commission.
Created to hang in the square building featured in the work. The majority of this painting was created with Sharon painting in public, in the foyer of the State Office Building in Sydney in 1986. Hung in exhibitions in Sharon’s First Impression Gallery, Sydney, until delivery to the Pittwater Village in early 1988.
